A midwife accused of administering a drug which caused unborn babies to have an abnormal heartbeat has had her professional conduct case postponed.
Kirsteen Stewart, of Newmachar, had been due to appear at the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) conduct and competence committee substantive hearing yesterday.
It has now been postponed until a later date.
Ms Stewart was working at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital when the alleged offences took place between October 4, 2007, and March 13, 2010.
A report by the NMC said she allegedly administered a drug which caused unborn babies to develop bradycardia.
