The new Mercedes S 600 made its world debut at this year’s Detroit Motor Show.
The S 600, with its V12 biturbo engine, is the top model in the established S-Class and is available with a long wheelbase and a luxurious package of equipment and appointments.
Its engine delivers 530bhp and 819lb/ft of torque. The market launch of the car will follow in March 2014.
The S 600 now for the first time features the ECO start/stop function as standard, which contributes to the car reaching the Euro 6 emissions standard.
The combined fuel consumption stands at 25.4mpg – a 21% improvement over its predecessor.
