Winter weather: Ferries disrupted

Winter weather is causing chaos for ferry passengers in the north today.

Many services are cancelled and others are on amber alert of possible delay or cancellation.

All M.V Hrossey sailings and the M.V. Hamnavoe sailings from Northlink are under review.

CalMac has advised on the following routes.

Cancelled:

Oban-Castlebay and Oban-Lochboisdale

Oban – Colonsay – Port Askaig – Kennacraig

Mallaig – Armadale

Mallaig – Eigg – Muck – Rum – Canna

Disrupted:

Ullapool – Stornoway

Ardrossan – Brodick

Wemyss Bay – Rothesay

Colintraive – Rhubodach

Oban – Lismore Oban – Craignure

Lochaline – Fishnish

Uig – Lochmaddy

Berneray – Leverburgh

Sconser – Raasay

Tarbert (Loch Fyne) – Portavadie

Largs – Cumbrae Slip

Tayinloan – Gigha calmac
Uig – Tarbert

Fionnphort – Iona
