Italian car maker Alfa Romeo’s revised Giulietta is now on sale, with minor styling upgrades plus a more frugal and green engine line-up.
First launched in the UK in 2010, the 2014 Giulietta boasts a new front grille design, revised front fog light bezels, new alloy wheel designs and new exterior colours.
The car’s cabin now mirrors many in this competitive sector. It includes a large colour touchscreen so owners can access audio and navigation functions. Bluetooth connectivity and DAB radio features are also included.
Under the bonnet, every engine in the revised Giulietta range benefits from improved efficiency and lower emissions, which should also be good news for company car users.
For example, the 170bhp 1.4 TB MultiAir TCT variant now drops into the 15% BIK band, while the 105bhp diesel-powered 1.6 JTDM-2 drops from the 17% BIK band down to the 15% band.
On sale now, prices for the 2014 Giulietta start at £18,235 for the 1.4-litre TB 120bhp Progression, while the diesel range starts at £19,170 for the 1.6-litre JTDM-2 105bhp Progression.
