At last, it’s Friday and temperatures are definitely rising.
Aberdeen and Inverness will see highs of six degrees today with a jump to eight over the weekend – that’s almost tropical considering the cold over the last few days.
And better still, there was still a glimpse of daylight at 5pm yesterday, spring is on its way!
On the roads this morning the usual congestion in Aberdeen can be expected around Holburn Junction, Haudagain Roundabout and the Beach Boulevard.
Long term roadworks are in place at Machar Drive, which could cause delays.
Elsewhere, there’s heavy traffic on the A90 southbound between Foveran and Ellon.
Further north, the transportation of a wind turbine between Wick and Harbour and Burn of Whilk will be ongoing until mid-March.
