Inverness Classic Car Show attracted huge crowds to the city centre at the weekend.
The annual event has grown from strength to strength, with 125 vehicles taking part this year.
They were parked at Falcon Square, High Street and Church Street.
One of the highlights was a BMW front-opening bubble car. Also on show were three Rolls Royces including former provost Bill Fraser’s Rolls, which has been used to transport many members of the royal family around the Highlands over the years. Also keeping the many visitors happy on Saturday were street entertainers and live music filled the streets.
The event was organised by Inverness Bid (Business Improvement District) company.
Bid manager Mike Smith said: “It was the biggest and best classic car show we have had yet. We are delighted that despite the intermittent rain, we had a massive crowd come out for the event.
“It was well received by everyone. We had 125 vehicles in total. The vehicles themselves came from all over, we had four from Shetland, some from Skye, eight from Oban, and one from Kent. It was a resounding success, both for the people attending and for the businesses in the city centre.
“Our purpose is to attract people to the city centre, and we have had good feedback from businesses about the event.”
Eddie MacKay, from Beauly, was exhibiting four Ford Escorts. He said his Mark One Escort Mexico generated the most interest. Mr MacKay added: “The day was very good, we enjoyed the day.”
