As a result, drivers commuting along the A9 between Pitlochry and Inverness have been warned to take it easy due to a risk of black ice. Roadworks in different parts of Ellon are causing delays, most notably those at Cromleybank Farm Road and Station Road. Avoid them if possible. The Deveron Bridge remains blocked after a car smashed into the side of it over the weekend. Expect a tough time through Wick and down the A99 as there are wind turbines being moved through it weekly at the moment. Wick turbines On the roads this morning the usual congestion in Aberdeen can be expected around Holburn Junction, Haudagain Roundabout and the Beach Boulevard. Long term roadworks are in place at Machar Drive, which could cause delays. Elsewhere, there’s heavy traffic on the A90 southbound between Foveran and Ellon Hazardous conditions are being reported on the A928 between the A9 Carrbridge and the A95 Grantown on Spey – with motorists told to expect delays. There’s also heavier traffic than usual on the A82 Highland between Tomnahurich Street, Inverness and Ballifeary Lane.
