Aberdeen traffic seemed chock-a-block this morning as just a couple of accidents brought havoc to the roads.
Commuters travelling south on the A90 into Aberdeen faced huge delays after a Porsche and a Ford Ka smashed into a BT phonebox near Blackdog
Although both cars were off the road, a mixture of emergency services and motorists slowing down to look at the devastation meant those behind them were stuck for hours trying to get past.
The backlog then continued further down the A90 to the roundabout at B&Q where hundreds of drivers were stuck in queues on the approach.
Add into that mix, roadworks on St Machar Drive, the usual problems at the Haudagain Roundabout and Beach Boulevard and you’ve got a recipe for a really, really slow journey to work.
Here’s hoping for a smoother day of traffic tomorrow.
