Subsea and marine recruitment specialist etpm has introduced two new service lines and made two senior appointments to further grow and develop its service offering to companies operating in the current economic climate in the oil and gas sector.
The changes further position etpm as the provider of one of the most comprehensive crewing service agencies in the industry and are part of the company’s ongoing service development. The latest editions to their offshore recruitment service are a specialist survey recruitment team and a dedicated ROV Division. These key areas have been implemented to meet high client and industry demand due to the “hard to find” nature of these disciplines.
Two senior industry advisors, Mike Flaherty and Keith McGregor, have been appointed to help direct and increase the growth of these two recruitment divisions.
Mike Flaherty has more than 40 years’ experience in the offshore survey industry and has held a range of management posts including operation & project management roles for some of the biggest players in the survey market.
He said: “I hope to bring my experience and expertise in the survey industry to assist etpm in its recruitment programme for attracting high calibre, experienced, freelance survey personnel of all disciplines onto their books. Developing a pool of highly qualified and experienced personnel is key to developing and ensuring growth of this new division.”
Keith McGregor joins the company as a specialist ROV consultant. Since first casting an eye over a prototype underwater vehicle in 1977, Keith has fulfilled a number of technical, operational and commercial roles within the ROV and underwater contracting business in the UK and overseas.
Andrew Mitchell, etpm business development manager, said: “The addition of Mike and Keith is a huge bonus for the new divisions as well as the company itself. They both have a vast amount of experience within their specialist fields and will play an integral role in the continued growth and development of etpm and our new divisions. They will both manage and direct their respective teams and we hope they will pass some of their expertise and knowledge onto the younger generation within the office.
