Southbound and northbound, the road is affected between the B999 and the A956 junctions. In Aberdeenshire, there is heavy traffic near Ellon on the A9000 and B920 roads. Temporary traffic lights in Turriff are also causing congestion to pile up on the B9025, at the Deveron Bridge junction. In the Highlands, high winds are affecting the Skye Bridge and drivers are being urged to exercise caution. Expect a tough time through Wick and down the A99 as there are wind turbines being moved through it weekly at the moment. On the roads this morning the usual congestion in Aberdeen can be expected around Holburn Junction, Haudagain Roundabout and the Beach Boulevard. Long term roadworks are in place at Machar Drive, which could cause delays. Elsewhere, there’s the usual heavy traffic on the A90 southbound between Foveran and Ellon
