Tuesday travel: Strong winds in the north affecting routes

Motorists in the north of Scotland have been urged to exercise caution on the roads today due to strong winds.
Drivers are being urged to approach the Kessock Bridge, in Inverness, with care, as are people using the Dornoch Bridge
In the north-east, restrictions on the A90 Aberdeen to Peterhead road remain in place.
The route has one lane closed in both directions coming into the city due to emergency repairs.
Southbound and northbound, the road is affected between the B999 and the A956 junctions.
Temporary traffic lights in Turriff also continue to cause congestion to pile up on the B9025, at the Deveron Bridge junction.
The Cairn O’Mount road remains closed for emergency road repairs.
In Aberdeen, on the roads this morning the usual congestion in Aberdeen can be expected around Holburn Junction, Haudagain Roundabout and the Beach Boulevard.
Long term roadworks are in place at Machar Drive, which could cause delays.
Elsewhere, there’s the usual heavy traffic on the A90 southbound between Foveran and Ellon
