Friday’s travel: Met Office warning for ice in the north

Nothing new affecting roads across the north and north-east, however a Met Office yellow warning is in place across most of the country.
The forecasters have placed a yellow warning for ice on the roads in Grampian, the Highlands and Western Isles.
Motorists are being urged to exercise caution on the roads in these regions.
The warnings will end at 10am.
In Hatton, Aberdeenshire, a road block between Station road and Hobshill Place remains in place due to a church fire last week.
Temporary traffic lights in Turriff on the B9025, at the Deveron Bridge junction, are no longer in place.
In Aberdeen, on the roads this morning the usual congestion in Aberdeen can be expected around Holburn Junction, Haudagain Roundabout and the Beach Boulevard.
Long term roadworks are in place at Machar Drive, which could cause delays.
Elsewhere, there’s the usual heavy traffic on the A90 southbound between Foveran and Ellon
