Petrofac Training Services brought some of the north-east’s offshore and energy sector businesses together recently for their premiere Corporate Cup event in Aberdeen.
Football fans working across the oil and gas sector took part in the seven-a-side tournament, which brought together well-known industry names such as Premier Oil, Halliburton and KCA Deutag. The tournament has been a key part of Petrofac Training Services’ initiative to unite community and business in Aberdeen, while supporting the fantastic work of the Aberdeen FC Community Trust with whom the event had been organised in partnership with.
Teams competed for the ultimate prize of lifting the Petrofac Corporate Cup at the Petrofac Training Cup Final 2015 between Livingston and Alloa. Aberdeen legend Eoin Jess was also on hand on the day to offer his seasoned advice to all teams taking part.
Petrofac Offshore Projects and Operations Division (OPO) emerged as the winning team, claiming victory at the prize-giving ceremony at Pittodrie, which took place after the tournament.
