Resurfacing work on a busy city-centre junction in Inverness will begin this evening.
The repairs to the junction of Academy Street, Millburn Road and Crown Road will start at around 8pm tonight and will last until around 6am tomorrow morning.
The work is expected to run until Sunday, March 15, and will be carried out overnight in order to minimise disruption.
The three roads meet at Falcon Square close to the Eastgate Shopping Centre
During the works the traffic lights at the junction will be switched off and replaced with temporary signals.
Some additional work will have to completed later in the month and this will also take place overnight.
