Oil and gas professionals can expand their network of contacts by attending an Aberdeen event designed to boost collaboration across the industry.
Organised by Aberdeen Oil and Gas Network (AOAGN), the early-morning networking event will be held at the Albyn on the city’s Albyn Place between 930am and 11.30am on Thursday, March 19.
The informal networking session is being sponsored by Topsides UK – the only large conference and exhibiting event in the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) and Europe dedicated to exploring ways to save cost and enhance production.
AOAGN is an Aberdeen-based business-to-business networking organisation, which aims to enhance collaboration in the oil and gas industry. Having launched in late 2014, the organisation has grown to more than 100 members.
Lesley Lewis, owner of Aberdeen Oil and Gas Network, said: “Following the success of our previous networking sessions I’m eagerly anticipating this latest instalment in our events calendar. It promises to be a fantastic opportunity for oil and gas businesses and professionals to come together and build and develop connections. We pride ourselves on offering networking in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where delegates are given the chance to meet and interact with everyone in the room. Networking can increasingly form an important part in businesses’ overall business development strategy; therefore, we expect to receive a great deal of interest in this event.”
Limited places are available for the event, priced at £29 (plus VAT) for members and £37 (plus VAT) for non-members, while tea, coffee and a breakfast roll will be provided. Anyone interested in attending the event should contact Lesley Lewis at info@aberdeenoilandgasnetwork.com or call 01224 968128.
The Aberdeen Oil and Gas Network (AOAGN) is the first group, aimed specifically at businesses and professionals working in the oil and gas industry, which offers opportunities for both online and offline networking.
