If you’re the kind of person that just loves to complain about the weather in Scotland, this video will make you thankful the worst that most wind can do here is lift up a kilt or two.
In the footage taken from a car’s dashcam, whilst driving forest in central Victoria in southern Australia, extreme winds caused by a storm hit fever point, causing a number of trees to collapse with terrifying force one after another.
Despite the trees almost crushing the vehicle, the driver the car calmly brakes before watching the rest of the forest collapse across the road.
So next time you’re complaining about having to hold down your hat in the wind, spare a thought for those on the other side of the world who run the risk of being crushed to death by simply taking a drive through the woods.
