The woman, who is in her 40s, suffered facial injuries following the collision at around 7.30am today. The accident happened on the A970 Grutness-Ibister road near Cunningsburgh. The woman is reported to have suffered a wound on her face which was bleeding when she was assessed at the scene. She was removed by road ambulance to hospital in Lerwick. The road is open.
