The RNLI Mallaig crew was called to help the 32ft Investor which was in difficulty at around 3.30am. A spokesman for Stornoway Coastguard: “The fishing vessel had developed a steering problem south of Skye and was not being held on it’s anchor. “The lifeboat attended and was able to tow the fishing boat to Elgol on Skye for repairs.”
