SNP Gordon candidate Alex Salmond arrived in Ellon this morning to vote in the General Election.
The former First Minister joined SNP voter Nicki Falconer at Auchterellon School while he posed for photographs and chatted to voters.
Ms Falconer voted for the first time in September’s referendum and has since joined the SNP party.
Mr Salmond would not be drawn on seat predictions but said: “That is up to the people to decide, this is polling day, let’s just let the people decide.”
He is running against Liberal Democrat candidate Christine Jardine, whose party has held the Westminster seat for Gordon for more than 30 years.
