Twitter page mocks Lib Dems election misfortune

Possibly one of the cruellest jokes of election night so far is Twitter page @LibDemDeposits.

The profile, from an unnamed source, is keeping a running tally on the number of ‘wasted’ MPs deposits.

So far, the site has posted three tweets, beginning at £500, increasing to £1,000 and – most recently – £1,500.

The LibDems have had a disappointing night so far, and exit polls expect it to continue.
