Broken-down crane causes A96 delays in Moray

A broken down crane is causing rush hour delays on a major Moray road.

Police said the crane had been “in an awkward position” on the Spey Bridge roundabout on the A96 by Fochabers since before 4pm.

Delays are expected for the next four hours as arrangements are made to remove the crane from the road.

A police spokeswoman said: “As the crane is broken down it will take a but of time to remove it, and at the moment it is blocking one lane.”
