There’s times when washing the car just can’t wait.
At least that’s how it was for this driver who cleaned his Vauxhall Insignia in a town centre fountain.
Captured at the famous Bullring fountain in Wakefield, West Yorks this footage shows the vehicle spinning under the jets of the water feature in attempt to wash away the cobwebs.
As a police car approaches, the, um, innovative driver makes a getaway as officers follow him down the street.
It probably would have been much less hassle to have used an actual car wash…. but each to their own.
