WHAT DOES YOUR JOB INVOLVE?
I act on behalf of clients in a wide range of civil litigation disputes, from settling boundary disputes between neighbours to recovering debt for companies and raising professional negligence court actions for large banks. My job involves meeting with clients and advising them on the law and legal issues relating to their case; drafting documents, letters and contracts; negotiating with opposing solicitors and other professionals; researching the law and analysing documents and representing them in court, if necessary. My traineeship has been specialised in Dispute Resolution and I had my own caseload from the beginning which means I have gained in-depth experience early in my career.
