Fire and rescue service received reports of the blaze, on Springfield Road, at around 9.50am. Three fire appliances, from Stornoway and Shawbost, are currently at the scene. Police are at the site, along with 17 firefighters who are continuing to battle the fire. An ambulance service spokeswoman has confirmed a woman has been taken to the Western Isles Hospital. The full extent of her injuries are not known at this stage.
