An accident north of the Kessock Bridge has caused rush hour delays on the A9. Emergency services were called to the southbound lane of the Inverness-Thurso road after a car overturned and ended up in the central reservation. One lane was blocked causing lengthy tailbacks on the trunk road. Fire crews and an ambulance were called but were stood down after it became clear the driver was not injured. A police road traffic unit from Dingwall also attended the incident.
