A woman has been airlifted to hospital after taking unwell while climbing a mountain on Mull.
She was with a group of walkers on Ben More on the Argyll island when she got into difficulties today.
Stornoway Coastguard helicopter rushed her to Oban, where she was transferred to a waiting ambulance and taken to the nearby Lorn and the Isles Hospital.
A police spokesman said: “At 1.20pm police and emergency services received a report of a 69-year-old woman who had taken unwell during a hill walk on Ben More.
“The woman was accompanied by her walking party until around 3pm when she was airlifted by coastguard helicopter and taken to Lorn and Islands Hospital at Oban to receive treatment.”
No further information was available regarding the woman’s condition.
