Road re-opens after Aberdeenshire crash

An Aberdeenshire road has now re-opened following a two vehicle crash this afternoon.

Two people were taken to hospital following the accident on the A92 at its junction with the A957 near Stonehaven just before 4pm.

Fire fighters had to free one person from one of the vehicles.

Paramedics transported two casualties to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Their injuries are not believed to be serious.

A police spokesman confirmed the road is now clear.
