The Number 10 entrance is regarded as one of the most secure doors in Britain, due to the men and woman who enter the building, it needs to be safely guarded.
It has uniformed policemen and even a specially-appointed cat named Larry, however, a grey heron this afternoon managed to fly it’s way into the Prime Minister’s home at Downing Street.
The heron was only there for a few minutes before flying off again, as it has been said that the heron was spooked by a nearby crow, the heron looked for cover.
Sometimes on warmer days, the door is left open to let some air in, which is why the Heron was able to pop in to see Prime Minister David Cameron.
The staff looked on in amazement as they closed internal doors to stop the bird going in any further.
Looks like this bird will have to look elsewhere to secure its move into politics.
