An 87-year-old man has denied sexually assaulting two women in an Aberdeenshire shop.
Pensioner James Coutts appeared in the dock at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday facing two charges.
It is alleged Coutts, of 2 Blackhall Crescent, Tarland, Aboyne, pulled both women, who can not be named for legal reasons, by the small of their back towards him.
He is then said to have kissed them both on the cheek. The offences are both alleged to have occurred at a shop in Aboyne on August 6 last year.
Coutts with go on trial later this month.
