West Highland College UHI has welcomed a new vice-principal of academic affairs.
Sue Macfarlane joins the senior management team of the college having worked in the area of education and skills for more than 20 years.
Originally teacher trained, she has a well established track record of leadership and planning, managing large and diverse teams, engaging with a variety of partners and stakeholders and a customer-focussed approach to planning and delivery of services. She most recently worked for the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) as head of specialist awards and services and previously held the position of qualifications for business subjects within SQA.
