Police have released CCTV footage as they attempt to trace a man following an assault in the centre of Aberdeen.
A 33-year-old man was assaulted on Union Street on Friday, February 6 and officers investigating the incident are looking to speak to a man, believed to be in his 20s.
The man is described as being in his 20’s, approximately 5’8″ tall, slim build, wearing a black leather jacket, a white t-shirt, black trousers and black and white trainers and it is believed he may have an eastern European accent.
The incident occurred around 10.45pm on Friday, February 6, near Boots on Union Street and police are looking for anyone with information to get in touch.
Investigating Officer Constable Kevin Souter said: “This is a serious incident resulting in a male sustaining a facial injury.
“Assaults of this nature can have a significant impact on the life of the victim and I would appeal to anyone who recognises the male pictured or has any knowledge of this incident to come forward and contact the Police.”
