Plans for 50 new homes in a small Black Isle will be unveiled at a public meeting later this month.
Paterson Estates wants to develop a site north west of Greenside Farm at Courthill Road in Rosemarkie.
There will also be improvements carried out to the street and the junction of Courthill Road and Manse Brae.
The proposals are at an early stage however and a planning application has yet to be lodged by the developers.
As part of the pre-application process, councillors at the north planning applications committee will be given basic details about the plans on Tuesday.
The developers and architects will hold a public meeting on June 11 at the Gordon Memorial Hall on Courthill Road.
The plans will be on display from 12.30pm-5pm, with a presentation and feedback session from 7pm-9pm.
A spokesman said: “Comments can be made either in person at the meeting or via e-mail by July 10. These are not representations to the council and no comments should be made directly to the Highland Council at this stage. When a planning application is submitted, there will be an opportunity to make representations on that application to the council.”
