Mobile breast screening service to service remotest regions of Deeside

The north-east Scotland mobile breast screening service will visit an Aberdeenshire village next week.
The unit will be at the ambulance depot of Aboyne Hospital, on Bellwood Road, on Thursday, June 18, and will remain there for eight weeks.
Women aged 50-70 who are registered with a GP at the Aboyne health centre, Ballater clinic and Braemar health clinic are being invited to attend.
Women aged 71 and over will not be sent an invitation, however, they are encouraged to make their own appointment by contacting the screening centre on 01224 550570.
