Some of the north east’s most spectacular sights have been collated in a calendar designed to show off the best of the region to overseas visitors.
The project from the Banffshire coast tourism partnership showcases a range of stunning images from a moonlit Bowfiddle Rock at Portknockie to a bright coastal view from Tarlair, outside Macduff.
It is hoped the Beautiful Banff and Buchan calendar will prove popular with tourists, who will then show off the north east’s coastal scenery to friends back home.
Partnership chairman Roger Goodyear said: “Over the years, the Banffshire Coast Tourism Partnership has undertaken a number of promotional campaigns to attract visitors to this often underestimated area.
“The calendar shows off images including the iconic Bowfiddle Rock at Portknockie, through Cullen, Sandend, Portsoy, Banff and on to Tarlair.
“It really does represent the area very well, we can’t think of a better way to promote the area than through a constant daily reminder of the fantastic scenery we as residents all enjoy on a daily basis.”
The 12 different views of the region were captured by photographer Andy Martin.
Mr Martin said: “I hope that the selection of images I have chosen will not only remind those who have already been of their holiday, but also encourage others to come and see these places for themselves.”.
