The family of Steven Campbell has been informed, said police. Mr Campbell was reported missing from the Point district of Lewis, a few miles outside Stornoway. The 37-year-old was wearing lightweight clothing when believed to have been last seen on Monday. Mr Campbell was wearing jogging bottoms, a t-shirt and trainers. Stornoway lifeboat and a coastguard search helicopter scoured the sea and cliffs around the Knock and Swordale coastline yesterday. They continued into the early hours of this morning. Coastguard volunteer teams searched on shore. A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed Mr Campbell’s family has been made aware that a body was found. Formal identification will take place later today.
