The Stornoway Coastguard had a busy night, attending to three call outs in the early hours of the morning.
Lifeboat’s rushed south upon receiving a call from Spanish fishing vessel, Egunabar, after one of their crew suffered a heart attack.
The male crew member was taken onto the Stornoway Lifeboat and quickly transferred at Stornoway harbour before being conveyed to the Western Isles Hospital for treatment.
A yacht, also called on the Lochan lifeboat after the man crewing the boat solo began dragging anchor.
The lifeboat crew toed the vessel into moorings.
Finally, another yacht got into difficulties on Lochmaddy, Uist, after their steering gear failed.
The Lifeboat Leverburgh was dispatched, and escorted the boat into port.
A coastguard spokeswoman said: “I think the weather blowing up suddenly is to blame.”
