Winds and rain battered Scotland this morning – with Perthshire and the southern Highlands worst hit by flooding.
Thousands of people took to Twitter and Facebook to post videos and pictures of rising water outside their homes.
Pictures of cars piled up in Alyth town centre and greenkeepers sweeping water off fairways in St Andrews have swept the internet.
