Ross County have signed Stoke City goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann on a six-month loan deal.
The Austrian played the second-half of County’s final warm-up match ahead of the new season, with the Staggies going down 2-0 against impressive newly-promoted Dutch Eredivisie outfit NEC Nijmegen.
The 21-year-old has been with Stoke since 2012, but hasn’t made a senior appearance for the Potters, having spent last season on loan with English Conference side Wrexham.
Bachmann has been capped three times by Austria under-21s, and will provide competition for Scott Fox this season after manager Jim McIntyre decided against handing a contract to trialist Jonathan Henly.
