Bridge of Dee car breakdown causes massive tail backs

A grey BMW seven series broke down right in the middle of the Bridge of Dee earlier today causing massive tailbacks and delays.

Traffic was queued back as far as great Western road one way and all the back to the Charleston fly over the other way.

Police had to direct traffic on the bridge and people reported being trapped in gridlocked traffic for up to half an hour.

The traffic wasn’t even moving so drivers abandoned their cars on road and got out to take some fresh air.

The obstructing luxury German saloon car was cleared within an hour.
