Two would be armed robbers who tried to hold up a Pennsylvania convenience store with a machete turned and fled after a cashier pulled out a huge sword.
Surveillance video shows the suspects entering Perry Market in Pittsburgh on Friday night.
One goes behind the counter brandishing his blade and demanding money.
But cashier Jewad Hayih whips out the scimitar-style sword and charges the robber.
The suspect realises his machete is no match and runs for it.
A customer grabbed the other robber, but he broke free and both fled.
Both had cleared off by the time Mr Hayih returned from the back of the store with a handgun.
