Bottle nose dolphin plays with his food as he jumps and catches a salmon in the Moray Firth, near at Chanory Point, Highlands.
These are amazing pictures show a bottlenose dolphin catching a wild salmon in the air.
Alister Kemp, 49, a warehouse worker from Evanton, Highlands, spotted the stunning animals at Chanonry Point on the Black Isle, Highlands.
He said: “It was just amazing to watch. I spend a lot of hours every summer watching the dolphins but I’ve never seen anything like this before.
“It’s such a stunning thing to see and there’s only a short amount of time in the summer to see it. It’s a great place to watch the dolphins and has been really busy lately. I’ve been going over since 2008, the trick to spotting them is to get there while the tide is still incoming
