Reports are coming in from across the city of traffic chaos as Aberdeen gets set to host Offshore Europe 2015.

There is very slow traffic and heavier than usual traffic on the A96 in both directions in Aberdeen (Dyce) Airport at the Dyce Drive junction.
A956 Aberdeen City – Very slow traffic and heavier than usual traffic on A956 Ellon Road southbound in Bridge of Don between the A90 The Parkway junction and the B997 Balgownie Road junction.
There is no right turn manoeuvres from Ellon Road, Aberdeen, into Links Road, and from Ellon Road, Aberdeen, into Hutcheon Gardens, and also from Hutcheon Gardens, Aberdeen, into Ellon Road.
Claymore Drive, Aberdeen, will be made one-way, and the permitted direction of travel will be in a clockwise direction.
Exploration Drive, Aberdeen, will be made one-way between its eastern junction with Claymore Drive and Technology Park Roundabout, and the permitted direction of travel will be westbound only.
Conference Way, Aberdeen, will be closed to vehicles with the exception of taxis and authorised vehicles.
The bus lane on Parkway East, Aberdeen, from Exhibition Avenue to Ellon Road, and on the A90 Ellon Road, Aberdeen, approaching Parkway East, will be suspended.
There will be a prohibition of waiting at any time on the south and west sides of the Esplanade, Aberdeen, between Ellon Road and Accommodation Road, and also at several bus stops set out on the north and east side of the Esplanade, Aberdeen.
There will also be a suspension of the width restriction on the Esplanade, Aberdeen.
There will be a prohibition of waiting at any time on King Robert’s Way, Aberdeen, King Robert’s Place, Aberdeen, and on Morrison’s Croft Crescent, Aberdeen.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the grass verge between Intown Road, Aberdeen, and Ellon Road, Aberdeen, and on the grass verge between Intown Road, Aberdeen, and Parkway, Aberdeen.
There will be a prohibition of loading or unloading at any time on Exhibition Avenue, Aberdeen, Parkway East, Aberdeen, and the east side of Ellon Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Parkway East and King Robert’s Way.
Also, Hutcheon Gardens, Aberdeen and Balgownie Crescent, Aberdeen, will both be closed at their junctions with Ellon Road, between 6.30am and 10.30am, from 8 September, until 11 September.
