The Big Game: Wick Academy 0-1 Cove Rangers

Cove Rangers remain hot on the heels of Highland League leaders Formartine United following yesterday’s 1-0 win against Wick Academy.

Connor Scully’s seventh goal of the season 20 minutes from time secured the points in an evenly balanced game at Harmsworth Park.

Daryl Nicol almost added a second goal for Cove when he latched onto a short pass back but his lob rebounded back off the face of the crossbar.

Wick pushed for an equaliser but were unable to find the back of the net as Cove held on for all three points.
