The spirit of the German beer hall will flow in Moray next month, with ale enthusiasts flocking to sample dozens of local brews in the name of charity.
The two-day Moktoberfest event will be held at Elgin Town Hall.
To help set an authentic Oktoberfest mood, local butchers are preparing a range of sausages infused with different ales, and there will also be live music.
It follows a successful first gathering in 2013, during which £10,000 was raised for worthy causes across Moray.
As well as drawing 2,500 visitors to the town hall, the inaugural Moktoberfest received a congratulatory motion in the Scottish Parliament.
Event organiser Nigel Tiddy said: “In 2013, many local and national businesses and organisations joined with an enthusiastic public to make the first Moktoberfest an outstanding success.
“We hope that previous and new sponsors will take part this year, so we can better the 2015 event and raise loads of money for local causes in Moray.”
Moray MSP Richard Lochhead, who enjoyed a visit to the festival when it was first staged two years ago, welcomed its return.
Mr Lochhead said: “It was great to see so many people involved and enjoying the previous event and I’m sure this year will be even better, given the quality of our local craft beers.
“This is Scotland’s year of food and drink, and we are fortunate to have some excellent craft beer companies in Moray that compliment our traditional Speyside whisky sector.”
Two six hour tasting sessions will be held in the town hall on October 10, from 11am-5pm and 6pm-midnight.
The following day, there will be one session lasting from noon to 6pm.
