Huntly cruised past Keith at Kynoch Park to leapfrog Deveronvale and Strathspey Thistle into 13th place in the Highland League table.
On another day, Huntly centre forward David Booth, the man of the match, could have had a hat-trick but he saw one effort come back off the upright and another headed off the line.
The visitors took the lead in the fifth minute through Craig Dorrat and didn’t look back as they went on to secure a 5-1 victory.
Elsewhere Highland League leaders Formartine United were held to a draw by Clachnacuddin while title challengers Brora and Turriff drew at Dugdgeon Park.
Cove Rangers were Saturday’s big winners with a 6-1 victory over Nairn while Buckie Thistle edged a nine goal thriller against Strathspey.
Elsewhere, Wick Academy secured their place in the second round of the Scottish Cup with a first round replay win away at Whitehill Welfare.
