The accident happened at 12..15pm on Elgin’s Main Street and traffic diversions were put in place by police along a stretch of the busy road. Concerned residents called ambulances to the scene, but a police spokesman confirmed that neither driver received serious injuries. The crash involved a white Audi A3 and a grey Honda CRV. The road reopened at 1.30pm.
