A key argument for building the long awaited Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route is being scrutinised by a community council.
Bucksburn and Newhills Community Council members  say that Transport Scotland’s predicted 74% traffic reduction on Kepplehills Road doesn’t stack up.
Concerns voiced by members of the Community Council include the opening of Brimmond Primary School not seem to being considered in line with the multi million pound infrastructure improvements.
Transport Scotland said that prediction was sound, highlighting that they predict future travel patterns and traffic volumes based on changes in land use and transport infrastructure improvements.
