Two of the most important parts of Christmas, a tree and Lego, have been brought together to make a festive treat.
Hundreds of thousands of the popular toy brand’s plastic bricks have been combined into a 26ft Christmas tree.
Model maker’s took great care as they leaned out from a cherry-picker and gently slotted into place the bright yellow star that adorns the top of the tree at Legoland in Windsor.
The enormous Lego tree took modelling experts weeks to construct. Brown bricks were used for the trunk, along with different coloured green bricks to create the branches and leaves.
The pine tree was built in sections that were then manoeuvred into place, and the tree has been festooned with hundreds of twinkling lights.
