A flood warning has been issued for an area of countryside running parallel to the A9.
From Pitlochry to Ballinluig, the River Tummel and tributaries are expected to respond to further rainfall over the next few days.
With high loch levels and further rainfall, river levels are expected to remain high during this time.
Low lying agricultural land is at risk of flooding.
Further updates will be issued if the situation changes.
Rivers, particularly within the west of Tayside will remain high through until late Saturday in response to further rainfall.
This includes the upper Tay, River Lyon, and River Tummel.
A statement of the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency website said: “Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property.”
