More flood warnings have been issued for the north-east – with heavy rain expected tonight and tomorrow.
The Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) has given warnings for Kintore, Inverurie and Ballater – with flooding expected.
SEPA said water levels on the River Dee will remain high in Ballater.
“Further rain is forecast for Wednesday night and during Thursday causing levels to rise again,” SEPA said.
“The extent of any rise may be lessened as some water will be locked up in snow in the hills. Some river banks have been damaged during Storm Frank and this may result in flooding at lower levels than in normal circumstances.”
Meanwhile a flood alert has been issued for Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
SEPA said: “Levels in the south of Aberdeenshire are expected to rise overnight into Thursday.
“In some areas they will peak at similar levels to earlier this week. Later on Thursday river levels in north east Aberdeenshire are forecast to reach very high levels.
“Further flooding of property, land and roads and disruption to travel and infrastructure is likely. Impacts from small watercourses and surface water flooding are also likely.”
